Satisfactory Explanation
When the conspirators and i were about to leave the capitol, a friend of Antony came in. He kneeled and began to tell Brutus how Antony feels about him. He said that Antony only wants an explanation of why Caesar was killed and that he will honor Brutus as he did Caesar. Brutus excepted his loyalty but i was questioning whether or not i could trust him. When Antony entered he praised and sighed over the dead body. Brutus told him why it had to be done, for the good of Rome. Antony insisted that it would be fair if he could talk on behalf of Caesar at his funeral. Brutus agreed but i said he shouldn't allow this because the people might be moved by what he has to say. Brutus said that he will speak first and explain the reason behind the murder and Antony will speak after. I still dont like the fact that Antony will be speaking, i feel that something bad is going to happen.
March 15
I was walking in the streets today and i saw Caesar and some of his followers pushing petitions in the streets. I suggested that they come to the Capitol. I was so nervous when Popilius said good luck with your endeavor. Somehow he new about our plan which made me think if anyone else knew. Brutus asked me what he said and when i told him he remained calm about it. Then we all entered the Capitol to talk with Caesar to talk about Publius Cimber's freedom. Caesar kept saying he can't be persuaded and never will change his mind. When Casca went to speak to Caesar he said, "let my hands speak for me!" He then stabbed Caesar followed by everyone else. Brutus was the last one to go. Finally the ambitious man got what he deserved and it was the start of liberty, freedom, and the end of slavery.
Not An Oath
This morning the conspirators and I went to wake up Brutus. When we got there i introduced everyone to Brutus and told him that they all love and respect him. After talking to Brutus we all put our hands in and swore an oath. Then we thought about bringing Cicero into our plan but Brutus insisted that we leave him out. Decius asked if we should do away with anyone else, and Mark Antony came up in our convo. Brutus said he isn't worth killing because he is weak and won't do anything to us. But i still have a feeling that Antony is going to try something. The clock struck three and it was time to go. We all went our separate ways and were ready to prove ourselves to be true Romans. Keep you posted, Cassius.

A Day With Brutus
Today i was talking to Brutus. I told him that he's been acting different in front of me and that i dont see the love and courtesy he use to show. Then we got on the subject of the people wanting Caesar to be king. Brutus agreed with me that it shouldn't and mustn't happen. I knew that Brutus was intersted in what i had to say when he said, "If it has anything to do with the public welfare then put honor before one of my eyes and death before the other." This was my way of getting to Brutus and i now can pursue hime to help me stop Rome from becoming a dictatorship.
